ms outlook
UnsureI have a system that has outlook on it, you can add a new contact but the information is not displayed. However the information is in there because if you go the add the same info you get a message. Any ideas why they are not being displayed? The hard drive has 3.2 gig free space. Anyone see this before?

Thanks,

Jim

Thanks cornball,

The client is running outlook 2000 and the options are different. I can't find a switch for auto hiding new contacts.

Hello jlipko,

Is this a corporate or workgroup version of outlook 2000 [ Help -> About will show version] ?

If so see http://support.microsoft.com/...cid=kb;en-us;q197907 .

Checked all settings and they were fine. Any other ideas? He has been using this system for over two years and this is the first time this has happened. Update: if you add the contact to the contact short cut you can view the information. However when you go to send an email and click on contacts your new contact is not their - but if you try to add it as new you get a message that it already exists.

Thanks,

Jim
