Has anyone ever used javascript MD5?

It can be used for protecting password submissions on non SSL sites, and it's supposed to protect against "passive eavesdropping", i.e. sombody listening on your line.

Forgot to mention: yahoo uses it for their mail logins.

I used in awhile back to allow people to change their Windows NT network logins who were using Windows 3.X and 95 systems via a web-based interface.
