Anyone know what port MySQL runs on? My server is behind a wireless router and I need to know the port number mysql runs on to access it outside the network.

Try Google. The very first (first few, actually) link has what you're after: http://www.google.com/...q=default+port+mysql
The MySQL Manual also has that info in there somewhere but I found Google to be easier to search.
