Hello, I have a request for help from anyone that would be willing to give it a try. I have an image that I finally got the way I want it to look, however it has a white background. I downloaded a photoshop trial, and tried to follow peoples instructions on here...however I am extremely lost on this. To complicate things even further...the photo appears to be speckled when you get somewhat of a transparent look to it. I'm not even sure if that was the transparent look. Anyway, I would really, really appreciate it if someone would be willing to edit this graphic for me and make it transparent. I will be attaching the pic...email me with any questions or comments at znewman@kc.rr.com. THANK YOU.

Realy needs to be blended to your background.
Let me know if its not ok and i'll try some background blending.
Saved as 256k gif so you will need to optimize it.

Ok i'll see what i can do. Give me a few days.
I don't use photoshop, I prefer Ulead Photoimpact.
http://www.ulead.com/pi/runme.htm
It's a bit more user friendly and its about a third the cost of photoshop.
Another good one is Macromedia Fireworks MX

What is your application for this image? will a .png work? .gif may be tough because they only support 8 bit - i send you both and you take your pick.
forgive me if you wanted to learn how. i did the work in photoshop by selecting the area i wanted to be made transparent and following the export transparent wizard.
