Microsoft giving away free money for a good cause
Send this link to everybody you know. Microsoft is giving 4p to the
NSPCC for everyone who clicks the green button.

Makes Microsoft part with some of their cash as well as being for a very
good cause!

It's good of Microsoft to do this. Some people are nasty towards Bill Gates et al because they are jealous of their success. They deserve to be patted on the back when they do good.

The only reason they are successful is because their products are good - or certainly used to be. Have you tried using Netscape or AOL's in-house browser? They're awful.

Ew... I used to be on AOL about 7 years ago. I found MSN Explorer on my startmenu the other day and fired it up. Reminded me why I hated about AOL.

Netscape is very good browser! However there are some bugs which crashes it sometimes. That's what I don't like in Netscape.
But otherwise I think Netscape is better. Cool

MSIE also has a lot bugs. IE 5.5 crashes many times. IE 6.0 does not crash (so often), but I hate a few features it has or not has. I.E.: The feature "Open Frame in new window" was removed. I hate that I can not break out from a frame. Mad

I use MSIE & Nescape both. I never use IE to bookmark anything, only Netscape. In addition there are many security bugs in IE!
IE is only good for daily browsing, browsing an average page.
But if I want to use Secure connection, I use only Netscape with SSL.
Netscape never had such security bugs like IE had!

So if you want to use IE for your online banking, let you do. Microsoft may collect all your info about you, and your passwords and your money... Tongue

Yip!

Mozilla is the best browser out there. I'm going to have such a party when it comes out of beta. :-)

You using Mozilla?

The best thing about Mozilla, which I love back in the golden days of Netscape, is that you can have your e-mail and usenet and web all in one place. For me, that's a huge bonus. Dunno why, I've always liked it that way.

Are they really i nthe same program? In 4.x they weren't. You simply had a menu option to go to the other program, just as in IE.

Uh, what I started here. It seems like browser war again. Smile
If we would like to continue, should start a "Browser war" or "Netscape vs MSIE browser" thread... Sly

I'm talking Mozilla here, not Netscape. I don't use Netscape.
