Have you noticed how the corporate types always persist in talking like an interactive thesaurus instead of everyday English? This is a real email reply given to me recently about a demo of a log analyzer program:
"We offer a full consulting services in pre-sales support to accelerate your productivity in facilitating the evaluation process."
Err...so in plain English then:
"We offer full information and advice about our products before and during you trial."
I'm not particularly impressed by this and actually think such wording can be intimidating to non business types. I wonder if he speaks like this to his wife and children when he gets home!
