Does anyone know why files created with EditPlus screw up if you view them in wordpad or notepad?

sometimes it gets screwed up for me with those little boxes like this [] but thats when i have it in unix format

Hmm. Not a bad product. Don't like the colour pink used to any text in "" quotation marks. Can't find anywhere to change that at the moment -- or do you have to register the software to get rid of the pink <g>.

It wasn't the fact that there was a welsh year book thing... it's just that I you can't really miss welsh. it's quite distinctive. Mind you, I wouldn't be able to separate it from gaelic/irish, if it wasn't written in the weird alphabet...Nice site though...

No, The Wales Yearbook discusses and catalogues issues relating to Wales as a Nation. I guess The Welsh Yearbook would relate to Welsh as a language, culture and so forth and not exclusively discuss issues relating to Wales.
Don't quote me on this, though. I just design the frontend. I'm not the worm behind the book :-)

I finally found the problem with EditPlus relating to screwed up layout.....it is because I have the formatting switched on so it indents after { ....it must insert something weird to make it indent as it screws up the layout in wordpad, however if I backspace to the beginning of the line and then press the space bar back the the original position, it displays properly...weird.

Probably inserting 4 space tabs, and wordpad uses 8 space tabs. Goto tools->prefs->file->settings and click on tab option. Make sure both numbers are set to 4, and insert spaces instead of tabs is set.
