Hi
I've just taken delivery of a new laptop for the office, which has Windows XP Professional pre-installed.
I now want to log this into the office network. Boy, am I having fun
.
The Networking properties (machine name, etc) found in Windows 98/2000 under "Networking" (yes, well done Microsoft) has been moved as a sub-tab of System. What?!!
Anyway.. I've managed to get TCp/IP up and running but still can't find a way of logging into the NT domain controller from it. How on earth can you, on start up, get a log onto a Microsoft Network dialogue box instead of the login to Windows screen?
