Unbelievable, Salzburg was easily eliminated in the first round, and Vancouver(/Whistler) won narrowly by three votes in the second round (as all of Salzburg's votes converted to Vancouver). It was a horse race, but neck and neck between Vancouver and Pyeongchang. Looks like Toronto will drop any prospects of trying for 2012. And it looks like New York is virtually out of contention for 2012. Good news for London as I hear they are favoured for 2012. Now we start spending money like it was going out of style. Hundred million here, hundred million there, and so on. If you come to Vancouver in 2010, please bring as much cash as you can carry - I'll meet you at the airport
