Favorite Food
Whilst munching on a pepperoni pizza I thought I'd ask what everyones favorite food(s) is/are?

I saw an advert on tv the other day for beans on toast with brown sauce on top and now I'm addicted. Its an English thing which foreign people may not understand (like bacon sandwiches) :)

My favorite foods:

Olives
Cashew Nuts
Pistachio Nuts
Pepperoni Pizza (spicy)
Chips (or fries for the US) & gravy
bacon sandiwches with brown sauce
spicy branston pickle (fine dice)
fillet steak

Laugh

...oh baileys haagen dazs

Okay, I'll bite... (ha ha)

Beer - St. Arnolds (Patron Saint of Brewers)
Peanut Butter - crunchy (a big weakness for me)
Pizza - thick crust deep dish style (any topping)
Any and all Mexican food
Some Chinese food (but limited)
Mashed Potatoes (gravy optional)
French Fries or tater tots (chips)
A big ol' Ribeye steak
Swordfish
Shrimp

Those are about my top favorites.

Now I need a beer...

BTW,
I've got this song
http://server1.sxsw.com/...ion_Has_No_Phone.mp3 stuck in my head. (2.9mb)

potatoes (any form -- mashed, baked, etc.)
spicey Chines food (ie, szechaun chicken)
just about anything Mexican except burritos.

Beer and Pizza

Mexican stuff: Taco's, Barrito's etc is good.

Barbeque's! Prawns, Steak and some snags on the barbie, and throw in some cold beer, doesn't get much better.

Malaysian food. Nice curries and sate's. All malaysian food is good :) I lived there for 5 years. Addicted to that stuff.
Cheers,
Michael Bray

What are prawns and snags? Doesn't sound like anything I've ever ate.

Some supermarkets in the States actually sell similar products. I never did like it since it smelled
so much like raw fish.

My my my, that link gave me the strangest sense of nostalgia. Made me think of the grandmother.

I lived in England for a year when I was 4-5, while my father was there on sabbatical leave. Baked Beans on Toast was my favorite meal Wink

I was 4 - I didn't have much say in the matter.

I remember one morning my dad ordered fish and chips for delivery - it was dropped off by a truck in front of the house, and we went out to get it. By the time we'd brought it inside, the grease had completely soaked the entire newspaper it had just been wrapped in. Unsure It was good - but living on that would kill you quite quickly I think Wink

Ahem, southern accents are POSH, and we don't have ANY smog where I am. About the only place that comes to mind with that is London Tongue I'd prefer to live here than Manchester or Liverpool anyday ;)

Last time I looked, Earth Tongue

And yeah, I have watched Eastenders. That LONDON, and not the south in general. If you had ever visited where I live, I think you would get a different opinion. When I go up north, I'm told I have a posh accent Crazy And everyone around here talks like that. Seems you just follow steriotypes ;)
