Why is it that my broadband connection capped at 600kbps can download the DMOZ content file at over 3.2mbps Crazy

No other website or download gives me over 70kb/s yet dmoz.org gives me 420k/s

I'm not sure. On a T1 server-to-server transfer, I get about the same. Takes about 5-10 mins to download the whole thing (900Mb odd)
