My sister bought me some hair clippers for christmas, you know the electric ones that shave your hair and buzz like mad.....well today I thought would be a good day to use them for the first time.

I started with a longer length to test things out and it worked well but got clogged up with hair, so I took off the guard and started cleaning it. I went into my parents bedroom to look in the mirror to check it out before I carried on and it looked ok so I went back into the room I was in before....

buzzzz..........OH SH*!

I forgot to put the guard back on and gave myself a bald strip along the side of my head

What am I gonna do

Ooops, that really DOES suck Arn't you meant to get someone else to cut your hair, and not do it yourself ;)

I haven't had a haircut in a year in and a hal so the length is below my shouldersf. I don't know what I'd do if something like that happened to me.

The only thing you can do is set the clippers on #1 and just shave your whole head (not bald, but close cut). The strip won't be as noticeable.

I've done the same thing on my face and had to shave my "trendy Austin hi-tech mountain-biker goatee".

Yep, I use #2 on sides and back that way I only have to get my hair cut like 3 times a year.

My brother did the #1's and he looked like a prison escapee or mental patient.

I usually have 3 all over (when I get it done properly) but with my own kit I used 9mm whatever number that equates to.

The bald strip is about 2mm lol
