Any good mailing list?
Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows a good mailing list script. Basically I'm looking for something like majordomo. I know you must be wondering why I don't want to install majordomo since it has what I need. Well, for one, I don't have Telnet access, secondly, my hosting compnay informs me that they do have a version of Majordomo on their server which they disabled or didn't implement the entire program. What i can do with the mailing list that i can create using thier Majordomo is that it will sent mails to everyone in the list but I cannot like prevent those in the list from replying to the email that was sent out. What I needed is a mailing list that can allow be to not allow posting to be sent to that mailing list except for me. Also, I need the ability to change the introduction email that would be sent to a new subscriber of the mailing list. Preferably, it also allows be to be able to digest the mails.

Thanks a lot.

hotscripts.com - it'll have dozens of them.

They are simple to make. I made one myself in about 20 minutes which did everything i needed, which was to allow sign ups, send out emails, store messages and attaach a message at the bottom of the email allowing people to stop receiving messages.
Cheers,

Look for mojo - it's a lightweight version of Majordomo.

Yep, MojoMail without a doubt. About the only top featured mailer that's comparable with high cost commercial equivalents - and cost nothing.

Cool... I believe http://www.bignosebird.com has one called "NoMoDomo" or something. Check them out as well.
