Adding utf-8 takes care of the © and it's showing © in search results too. Even ® works out well. But TM symobol now appears as:

CompanyName™

Had put this in search_results.html

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">

Any suuggestions ...
