Hello Paul,

Sorry about the last Tax man dribble.

I used to use MS C and MS C++ [ Visual Studio 6 with Basic ] , but I found the required "add Libs" for the end user

a pain in the royal buttocks.

I now generally use Borland's Delphi 3 [ 4 not ] , 5 occasionally, 6 bloated software.

My words : All versions of Delphi have known bugs / memory leaks --> so add the patches.

Delphi compiles a stand alone executable without royalties [ you may owe if you use other peoples ]

Delphi is WYSIWYG design , or just code ....

Have you tried Delphi recently ? Delphi Does Dallas !

cornball

ps Delphi is a Pascal port, you can compile delphi's version of Pascal command line also.

See Attached : 649.exe as 649.html [ Right click on the attachment and SAVE AS 649.exe ] a futile failure at lotto 6/49 but a delphi programming experience.

I have the source for 649.exe if you wish to see / use it .

649.exe was compiled on Win 98 but should run on 95,98,NT4,NT2000,XP , it does not change the windows

registry or add any dll's. I designed it to be stand alone, that is why I use Notepad.exe for saving and printing.

It does run on Win XP !
