Regarding (2)

I would like only certain individuals to be able to signup online.

But anytime a default user clicks on logout they get presented with the login screen that also has the option to signup.

If I remove the code to logout (to stop default users getting to the login screen), then I as the admin can't logout to create users etc.

I have searched for this in the forums but I can't find what I need.

I'd appreciate your advice.
