Still got this bug?
Hi,

This bug seems to have been an issue for ages now, but it seems to be worse now since the upgrade (every day I go to the forum, one or more of the categories are showing the posts as if I havn't read/viewed them).

Please see the attached image for an example (obviously this forum has been viewed)

Just thought I'd make you aware of this, in case you are not already.

Cheers

That's not a bug. New thread statuses are only kept for X number of days and after you don't go into that forum for that long, it resets.

Hello Adrian,

I just started noticing that myself and find it a tad annoying.
Is there a setting to turn off the resetting option?

Here is why I feel this option is annoying:
Open forum and get excited by a new posts.
Open the thread to view nothing new.

Until you know better, you look around wasting tons of time trying to find a new post that does not exist.

this "NEW"-feature does not make any sense to me...... probably I just donĀ“t get it.
For "NEW", I ONLY want to see really new posts (like posts being made during the last 24 hours or 3 days / same like within the "Advanced Search"-options).

Now it shows something like:
12538 posts
12538 NEW posts

what should this tell me ?? Should I read 12538 NEW posts (which are not "new" at all anyway......) ?
