Catchall?
Hey Guys,

I have a question.

I set a catchall for my domain and have been sending emails to random usernames that don’t exist. The emails are just sitting in the catch all account.

How do I get them to bounce and not store up on me?

Thanks

That's the whole point of a catchall account. So that all e-mail not addressed to existing system accounts will end up in that account. If you want the mail to bounce, don't setup a catchall account.

ohhhh, Adrian I'm confused.

I though I setup this catchall account for GMail?
So that all incoming mail goes to this box and GMail will go through this catchall and pick out the mail for the users who have an account.

Help me out. Thanks

Sorry, your question sounded like a generic one, not a Gossamer Mail one. If it's setup for Gossamer Mail, and you have configured to use the catchall account in Gossamer Mail, then when you run incoming.pl, it should delete the mail from the account once it's processed it. Unless you aren't running incoming.pl, the mail will just accumulate in the catchall account.

No, it was not generic question thus the reason also I listed it in the GMail forum.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.

How do I run "incoming.pl" or set this to automatically run?

Thanks

You need to setup a cronjob to do it. The instructions are in the README and should also be in the manual as well.
