What a Scam
http://site-by-design.com/affiliates.php

Recently listed on hotscripts. About as below the internet belt as you can get this one.

http://www.hotscripts.com/Detailed/38406.html

There is NO free script. First, you MUST give your paypal email address. Then - refer at least three friends. Then, after all that, when you sign up 5 affiliates under you then you get the free script.

I did give it a very straight down the line review at hotscripts. I do not believe they will do anything about a very clear sham.

We will wait - as I believe hotscripts have really gone down. I know that cgi-resources do get rid of questionable sites in my experience.

Hi Gypsypup

This type of scam leaves a sour taste for a long time.
Mad

I had a look for your review but came up with:

Not yet reviewed by any member....
You can be the FIRST one to write a review for Autoresponder Script.

Been deleted ?????

Hotscripts leave a lot to be desired in many ways. I have written excellent reviews for other scripts I have purchased and use. Still no review.

I have been deleted off the mailing list of these scammers. Guess what. Still being spammed at about 3 a day. Hotscripts, wake up.

I used their standard complaint system regarding the sites. One of the aspects of it was that you could state the reasons. Mine was that what they were offering was not really free. Can also add in some comments. Mine were the obvious - a scam.

There is a lot of this going around - this is a worst case. You can do this and that - killer tactics, killer script that can make you a millionaire etc...

Just unscrupulous people I am afraid that are trying to cash in on peoples desire to get ahead and all based on crap fundamentals.

All here in this forum are fully aware that there is no such thing as an 'instant anything' at all. Damned hard work and a lot of effort for not a great return.

The real point here is we have some of the worlds best scripts and technologies to try and achieve things. Thats what pisses me off about these clowns.

I did persue the matter of reviews of products with Hotscripts. This was in part their reply:
Quote:
I am not certain the issue with the non-validated reviews, but I can tell you we had difficulties with the old LinksSQL engine that was running HotScripts.com
I further queried the matter as I run linkssql and this was the reply.
Quote:
We are no longer using linkssql, a custom internally developed script has replaced it
All I know is that the review side of linkssql works very well and I cannot recall seeing anything of merit in the forums about this. Do not wish to start a war of words over the matter but I do know www.needscripts.com runs linkssql and seems to perform very well. Make your own minds up about all this.
