You should not use the Date field as a field to add in the add.cgi or modify in the modify.cgi scripts. Take out the DATE input field from all your add/modify templates.

If you are not using the date field in your add/modify template files, then the problem is probably associated with changing the date configurations in the links.cfg file. Revert back to the default configurations.

If you have not made any changes in your files and you are using PERL 5.006, then that is the problem. It seems that the new TIME modules, including LOCAL do not work with LINKS 2.0 as written.

So, then how do we get it working again?

I downloaded Local.pm and modified the links.cfg to use time: Local;

This did not solve the issue; what's the next step in trouble-shooting the problem?
