NEW (again!!)
Heres what is currently being shown on the main page for the testing forum and then the view from inside...

As you can see I hadn't posted and also there is a tag error.

These bugs have been around for a while now. Have they been dealt with for the next release?

Hopefully... We _have_ rewritten the new calculations yet again - it seems every release gets a rewrite of the "new" logic. Unsure

Since I'm not able to reproduce the errors consistently, we'll just have to put it up and hope that it works. There was, however, definately a bug in the old method.

Hmmm I just went to post that and also got:

A fatal error has occurred:

Please enable debugging in setup for more details.

You should have been here to see the fix - I forgot the WHERE clause on the update the first time. For a while, every post on the forum thought it had 7 replies Blush

It's a conspiracy Paul. They're driving you in sane by causing this problem to only exist on your computer.

This can't be just me experiencing this surely....it happens really often.

Suddenly loads of posts will come back as new even though i read them ages ago.

Notice the post time.... 5pm ....its now 6.44pm and that just started showing as new 5 minutes ago.

It could be a caching issue in that your browser has cached the main page - next time you see it, try refreshing the page and seeing if that helps.

That was the first thing I did.

I'll try a ctrl refresh next time and clear my temp files and see what happens.

Re: [Jagerman] NEW (again!!) In reply to
Ok, it happened and I did a refresh and ctrl + refresh and they didn't disappear so it doesn't seem like caching.

Edit: Oh forgot to say, I also have IE setup to check for new pages on every request.

Two browsers open with two different sessions perhaps? Hmm, I really don't know what is causing it - it should be working. Pirate

As a side note; this has stopped appearing for me ages ago.

Is anyone else still experiencing this?
