Orthopaedic Web Links, (OWL) was established in 1997 by a group of orthopaedic surgeons interested in the exchange of orthopaedic information in the Internet. It has grown to become the largest collection of links to orthopaedic information and preserves the tradition of "straight to the meat" linkage so that users find information on the topic of interest not merely a site which they then have to explore. All sites have been validated by orthopaedic surgeons and most of them have been posted by orthopaedic professionals.
