Limiting the number of records per user (Visit this link)

8 out of 10 stars (5 votes)

This is a list of a number of permutations of limiting the number of records a user can add, including limiting the total number a user can add (one or more) and limiting the number a user can add per day. The maximum number can be set by the admin on a per-user basis. There are instructions for forcing a new user to add a record after signing up for an account and for adding a record on the same form as signing up. There are versions for use with the "user-friendly" html.pl file and the default html.pl file, as well as versions to go with the secure password lookup mod and without it. Twenty-three permutations in all!
