Zope DOracle2 ans daemontools

Hi all,
I have a zope (and plone) that uses DOracle2 DA. Everything works fine,
but if I monitor the zope process with daemontools, then suddenly all
Oracle database connections fail.
If I run Zope as a daemon, the connection is OK
If I run runzope at console, the connection is OK
If I run runzope through daemontools (with a setuidgid zope, not as
root), then the connectyion fail.
has anyone experienced the same issue ?
any help or pointers to a solution is welcome
