The same error is thrown if you use APE with filesystem storage.
I have Zope 2.7.8, Python 2.3.5, Plone 2.1.1 and Ape 1.0.
No idea why this happens. I've had zero luck with APE, and have
come to the conclusion that no one really uses it.
