I've just checked in a change which prevents the various portal
objects from showing up in non-portal 'Add' menus in the management
interface.
When I made this change, I also created in the PTK a temporary
dependency on the DemoPortal. The 'actions' of the Document, Link and
News Item refer to the various Wizards that the DemoPortal defines. I
don't consider this a big deal. Previously, you could not actually add
the items via the management interface at _all_, so if you're not using
DemoPortal you're no worse off than before. I will shortly either provide
'proper' add forms, or move the Wizards into PTK proper (after some
enhancement and refinement).
