Dear Yongjie and Xen developers,

I have compiled and installed the latest Xen 4.4-unstable changeset
27305 and Linux kernel 3.10.3.

Although I did not get error code 43 for Intel HD Graphics 4600 IGD in
device manager, I am still getting 16 colors only for the monitor!!!

How can I solve this problem?

Hi Yongjie,

I have installed Fedora 19 x86_64 as a dom0 and compiled and installed
Xen 4.4-unstable changeset 27305 and Linux kernel 3.10.5. Previously I
was using Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS as dom0.

Although I did not get error code 43 for Intel HD Graphics 4600 in
device manager, I am still getting only 16 colors on the display. I
really do not know where the problem lies. Device manager says "This
device is working properly.", yet I am still getting only 16 colors on
the display.

Could you share with me your /etc/grub.d/40_custom GRUB2 contents?

Thank you very much.

Dear Yongjie,

I am not sure what went wrong but error code 43 comes back again. All I
did was to blacklist the i915, nouveau, and snd_hda_intel kernel
modules, rebuild the initial ramdisk, and turn off gdm. Could you tell
me what went wrong?

Could you share with us your full GRUB2 configuration and Windows 7 HVM
domU configuration?

Thank you very much.
