Well, my best advice:
- boot from a live CD (e.g. sysrescuecd, or whatever) to narrow down
where the problem is. Just in case some cables gone bad.
- find out what has changed from the last time it worked, and revert
the change. yum log file might help you find out which packages have
been upgraded.
