BTW - for RAID1, install GRUB (or whatever bootloader you are using) to the boot sectors of both drives - that way the system can boot from either drive. If you only install the bootloader on one drive, if that fails then your system will keep running but won't be able to boot. >I plan to make new domU on additional LV in the >same VG as dom0.
