(I had replied to David off-list but just to share with everyone…) Garrick van Buren and I have been doing a lot of work on making MediaWiki mobile friendly with a solid skin. We have been working on a new skin called Foreground. You can see more information at http://foreground.wikiwonders.net/wiki/Main_Page You can also see it in action live on WikiApiary: http://wikiapiary.com/wiki/Main_Page Note that making a wiki responsive requires close attention to templates. Foreground is built on the Zurb Foundation framework, and does really well in a variety of environments.
