Is the email necessary? The "Special:RecentChanges" page of your wiki provides such a report. You can opt for email notification of pages you "watch", but that’s a cumbersome solution. (unless there is a global "watch" option - I'm not familiar with this) Another option is to use Google Reader and subscribe to the "Special:RecentChanges" page. I like it because I'm usually logged into gmail, but not always in the wiki. We have that. ;) Well, not *exactly* that, but something you can probably work with. Our GlobalWatchlist extension sends weekly digest e-mails with edits to *watched* pages.
