Do you wish to continue? (y/n):
|

I am new to the mailing list. I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer. I currently use the Cisco VPN Client on Ubuntu to connect to a VPN network. I would rather migrate to VPNC instead. I tried using it via Ubuntu's network manager. I says it connects and then fails shortly after. I then attempted it directly using the vpnc executable. It gets all the way through the login process to where it displays the banner, but then I believe it gets stuck on the "Do you wish to continue? (y/n):" prompt. The Cisco VPN Client displays that prompt and allows you to answer it. VPNC never displays that prompt and I believe it is stuck and doesn't know what to do with it. Has this issue been brought up before? If so, is there an existing fix or technique to handle the situation? If not, do you think it would be an easy code enhancement? I am a C/C++ developer. I don't claim to be great, but I could look into researching a fix if one does not already exist. What are your thoughts? I appreciate any assistance. Thank you. Ben Kietzman ben [at] kietzman
