vpnc-nortel merge to mainline?

Hello. I need to connect to my company's Nortel Contivity VPN switch
from my Linux system (Ubuntu Karmic).
I have found numerous "HOWTOs" on doing this with vpnc, by checking
out the vpnc-nortel SVN branch and building my own client.
Since these instructions go back for years, I am curious whether the
Nortel support ever got merged into the mainline? "apt-get install
vpnc" is somewhat easier than building my own. :-)
Either way, thank you for all of the work on what appears to be an
excellent piece of free software.
