Hi, commit 448 adds Nortel's proprietary UDP NATT to vpnc. The advantages of NATT: - should finally make vpnc-nortel working on MAC (that does not support ESP in same way of Linux) - makes vpnc-nortel working when connected through providers that drop ESP packets - allows more vpnc-nortel behind a single NAT ADSL to connect to same server Disadvantages: - I have noticed network speed is higher with ESP than with UDP. Maybe this is specific of route between home (China) and server (USA). To enable UDP NATT, you have to use either command line flag "--natt-mode nortel-udp", or following text NAT Traversal Mode nortel-udp in the config file. Your Nortel server could be configured to ignore UDP, and only use ESP (or AH). In such case, you are not required to change config file or command line. vpnc-nortel will simply ignore your UDP NATT request, dropping to normal working mode.
