how to install vpnc on opensolaris 2009

Hi guys
I've installed opensolaris 2009 on my personal computer, now I wish to
connect to a cisco server using vpnc, after very complicated process
instructed from the internet, I failed to compile vpnc on pc,
Who can tell me how, specially the second part.

while I type 'make' the the fatal errer always jump out saying: make:
Fatal error in reader: Makefile, line 36: Unexpected end of line seen(\n)

Hmm, I don't know for sure but vpnc might have a problem with Solaris's
make program. Try gnumake instead.

'can't initialise tunnel interface: Bad file number'
when I type vpnc /opt/vpnc/etc/c.conf
who can tell me why?

Is tun/tap correctly installed? Does it display a message when you boot?

I did manage to get vpnc to compile on Solaris 10 (and OpenSolaris ought
to be easier, having more up to date dependencies). However, I never
managed to get the split routing to work. So mostly I use the Cisco Mac
VPN client. I don't think that any of the vpnc developers use any form
of Solaris, so unless you know network programming, you're pretty much
on your own.
