company made older vpn clients obsolete

I installed VirtualBox, installed WinXP in it, then installed in it the Nortel
client my company requires. Now I have a backup if vpnc quits working. Could
you do the same?

Well then in my case it wont be a backup for vpnc. It will be the only
source of connection. That makes use of vpnc obsolete for me,
