Is there any way to get this working in vpnc. I'm not sure that I understand you correctly, so let me summarize what I understand reading your question: Your company was and is using the cisco vpn client to connect via ipsec. Your company changed something on their servers to now enforce that only cisco clients running version 5.x can connect. In that case, you could try and provide the server with a fake client string (of course you'll need to find out the correct one, but if you run into trouble there, just ask again, someone should be able to help). "vpnc --long-help" shows an option called --application-version. Use that. If it doesn't help, then please provide the output of a connecttion attempt running with "--debug 3". ciao Joerg -- Joerg Mayer <jmayer [at] loplof> We are stuck with technology when what we really want is just stuff that works. Some say that should read Microsoft instead of technology. _______________________________________________ vpnc-devel mailing list vpnc-devel [at] unix-ag https://lists.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/mailman/listinfo/vpnc-devel http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~massar/vpnc/
