connection unusable after 1 hour

Hi,
after using the vpnc tunnel for 1 hour, connections over the tunnel appear to freeze up.
I assume that 1 hour corresponds with the ipsec lifetime attributes of 3600 secs?
I've attached the debug level 2 log - was running vpnc in the foreground and was not prompted for any new pincode etc.
I'm using a secureid keyfob, and built vpn from the latest SVN source last night.....
any help much appreciated.
