is vpnc with Linksys RV042 possible
|
|
Hello, I'm not sure to send this message to the correct maillist, but I can't find a user list. I use a VPN-Server (with router and gateway) Linksys RV042. I'm not sure if it is possible to connect vpnc with Linksys RV042 with vpn ... does anyone of you know that? I think the VPN-Server uses IPSEC. If it is possible, how can I configure? Can someone tell me how to configure the vpnc config-file? I hope you can help me - I'm trying now for two days without success ... :-( ... but I'm a newbie with configuring a VPN-Server ... TIA, Oli At RV042 I have the following values (a little changed here ;-)): ================================================================== Edit Tunnel: Group No: 2 Group Name: ATunnel Interface: WAN1 Enabled: CHECKED Local Group Setup: Local security Group Type: Subnet 192.168.5.0 ( 255.255.255.0 ) Remote Client Setup: Remote Client: DomainName (FQDN) Domain Name: group1.vpn.qutico.de (Alternativ possible: E-Mail-Adress (FQDN)) IPSecSetup: IKE with Preshared key Phase 1 DH Group: Group2 Phase1 Encryption: AES-256 Phase1 Auth: SHA1 Phase1 SA Life Time 28800 Perfect Forward Secrecy: CHECKED Phase2 DH Group: Group2 Phase2 Encryption: AES-256 Phase2 Auth: SHA1 Phase2 Life Time 3600 Preshared Key: secretString Advanced: Agressive Mode: CHECKED Compress: UNCHECKED Keep-Alive: UNCHECKED AH Hash Algorithm: UNCHECKED NetBIOS brodcast: UNCHECKED NAT Traversal: CHECKED Dead Peer Detection (DPD) Interval: 10 Seconds My current VPNC-Config file: ============================= IPSec gateway myDNS.linuxdns.org IPSec ID ATunnel IPSec secret secretString IKE Authmode psk # CA-File /etc/vpnc/certs/RV042_0117_1212_Client.pem Xauth username tow Xauth password aSecretPassword # Xauth interactive # Vendor cisco NAT Traversal Mode natt IKE DH Group dh2 Perfect Forward Secrecy server Debug 2 _______________________________________________ vpnc-devel mailing list vpnc-devel [at] unix-ag https://lists.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/mailman/listinfo/vpnc-devel http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~massar/vpnc/
