automatically attempt reconnect?
|
|
Hello, I've been trying vpnc and have noticed that work has been done on "dead peer detection". I see that there was a bit of related discussion on the list back in February. My question is: Is the default behavior to shutdown vpnc completely which this happens, or is there some "shutdown the connection, but then try to reconnect" feature that I'm missing? FWIW, I see the --dpd-idle option in the man page, but my problem is that vpnc just shuts down altogether. My setup: vpnc 0.5.1 on Linux (kernel 2.6.24), connecting to a Cisco 3000 series concentrator. Thanks for any pointers you can give.
