vpnc 0.5.1 connects but doesn't pass traffic
|
|
I've been asked by the maintainer of the vpnc package in Fedora to cordinate with upstream development on the problem I'm seeing. What sort of information would be helpful for me to get to the list to properly debug the problem? I can probably handle getting anything you'd need. Thanks in advance! Russell https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=378021 Description of problem: When I connect using vpnc 0.5 in F8 it seems to connect fine but I can only send any sort of network traffic to routes that don't pass through the tunnel. Anything I attempt to send across the tunnel just times out. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): vpnc-0:0.5.1-1.fc8.i386 How reproducible: Every time Actual results: Successful connection, and unable to send traffic across tun0 Expected results: functional vpn tunnel Additional info: Since I noticed that NetworkManager-vpnc depended on vpnc > 0.3 I grabbed the srpm from FC6 and recompiled it for F8. It works like a champ. _______________________________________________ vpnc-devel mailing list vpnc-devel[at]unix-ag.uni-kl.de https://lists.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/mailman/listinfo/vpnc-devel http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~massar/vpnc/
