Hi, I've a really tricky problem. I bring up my network interface with pump. This sets the default route to a gateway, but the acces is limited on some hosts. After this, I run vpnc-connect to bring up the channel to get access to the internet. This resets the default route on the tunnel. After an hour pump tries to renew the dhcp lease. But this fails, because the dhcp server is only reachable on the local net, but the route goes through the tunnel device. If I set a route for the dhcp server by hand, I get no problems. I asked someone to check the cisco client and it sets a route for dhcp, too. I don't know where it knows about the dhcp. Have you any idea, how to solve this problem?
