stopping VNC through commad line

Hi,

As i cannot type in a command on the already opend VNC console.

if i open a new console window and then try to close the VNC.
winvnc4 -stop
i get this error
Attempting to stop service...

Sun Mar 08 13:02:01 2009
main: unable to stop the service: The service has not been started.
(1062)

Not able to figure which is the correct way to close the VNC through
command line.

Thanks,
Krisp

Krisp,

The winvnc4 "-stop" option only affects the VNC Service-Mode Server, not
User-Mode instances.
