resolution and throughput

Hello,

I am new to VNC and I don't know what are the requierments for using it.
What is the throughput required and the resolution that it supports?

Thank you,
Cristian

RE: resolution and throughput [In reply to]

Cristian,

VNC can be used over networks as slow as 33Kbps, although 128Kbps or higher
is preferable. I assume that by "resolution" you mean colour depth - VNC
Viewer will use the full colour depth of the server, or a lower colour depth
if the network is especially slow.

Cheers,

Wez @ RealVNC Ltd.
