Ben: Heya. When you use the standalone VNC Viewer (i.e., not the Java Viewer), and you connect using the form: router.external.ip.address::8082 ...what error message do you see? Also, when you're at a location "where this port is not firewalled", do you see the same error message? I suspect that the firewall which is "blocking" your VNC Viewer connections to port 5900 is blocking all non-HTTP traffic as well. If so, running the VNC Server on TCP-443 (and port-forwarding 443) is your best bet. hope that helps, Scott > I have searched through the archives and have not found any answers > for the problems I am having.
