Google Analytics integration for Trac 1.0 web sites

What's the recommended approach for installing Google Analytics in Trac=1.x
sites . I tried with TracGoogleAnalytics [1]_ but install fails with error

ImportError: No module named google.analytics
}}}

I'm running Piwik Analytics on my Tracs
http://svn.aires-de-confluxence.info/browser/Serveur/trac/Piwik4Trac/

It doesn't seem like much of a maintained plugin, but it works. Probably
something decent should be rewritten from scratch.

I haven't used it, but the warning on the TracDev/Performance page stuck in
my head for some reason, so I thought I'd mention:
