single trac project?

how do I setup trac for a single project? right now when I go to my
trac page I get an "Available Projects" page that lists my one
project. From then on, the project name is put in the URL. Is there a
way to have this single project as the start page, and have its pages
off of the root domain?

Thanks for any help!

If you are using tracd, use the -s option.

You may be looking for the -s option to tracd.

If you are not using tracd and using Apache, it is easy to take care
of this via the Apache config file, it is what I do. If you post what
you currently have in your config file, I'm sure we can show you the
additions needed to give you what you want.

I am using tracd, but I am thinking I have an older version? It
doesn't recognize the -s option. I'm not sure if I can get my host to
update, so if this is true, am I out of luck?

here is what I see for tracd:

Options:

-a --auth [project],[htdigest_file],[realm]
--basic-auth [project],[htpasswd_file],[realm]
-p --port [port] Port number to use (default: 80)
-b --hostname [hostname] IP to bind to (default: '')
-d --daemonize Run tracd in the background as a daemon
-e --env-parent-dir <path> Parent directory of the project
environments

This version is now several years old, and predates the -s option. You
can always install a more recent version in your home directory or similar.
