SRS in .forward not working for me. help please.

Hi All, I am trying to implement SRS in my .forward. I have the following in the .forward. In this case "othersrs" is the srs in /usr/local/bin/, which came with libsrs2-1.0.18. I named it that way in order to avoid conflict with /usr/bin/srs which came with Mail-SRS-0.31 in my smrsh. \edward |"/usr/local/bin/othersrs --secret=helloyousweetpie --alias=domain_having_dot_forward.com user_at_forwardee_domain [at] domain_that_i_am_forwarding_to" I also tried with MAIL::SRS. in this case the .forward was \edward |" /usr/bin/srs --secret=helloyousweetpie --alias=domain_having_dot_forward.com user_at_forwardee_domain [at] domain_that_i_am_forwarding_to" Tried with the | both in and out of the "". My mail log contains this. " Dec 6 21:16:53 madness2 sendmail[4706]: kB6KGq3O004702: to="|/usr/local/bin/othersrs --secret=helloyousweetpie --alias=domain_having_dot_forward.com user_at_forwardee_domain [at] domain_that_i_am_forwarding_to", ctladdr=edward (501/100), delay=00:00:00, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=prog, pri=121772, dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent " But nothing more happens. The mail is not sent, nor do I have any more trace of it. It is worth mentioning that when I installed MAIL::SRS it "grumbled" about no BerkelyDB headers, but not with libsrs. Could this be the problem? Could anything else be happening? Somebody please help! :) When I run /usr/bin/srs --secret=helloyousweetpie --alias=domain_having_dot_forward.com user_at_forwardee_domain [at] domain_that_i_am_forwarding_to I get SRS0=bn2j=FQ=domain_that_i_am_forwarding_to.com=user_at_forwardee_domain [at] domain_having_dot_forward Thank you, Edward ------- To unsubscribe, change your address, or temporarily deactivate your subscription, please go to http://v2.listbox.com/member/?list_id=1129
