Yes, I did still have a question. - All the email domains I host have the save SPF record as I stated. - The IP address for all the email domains I host is the same as I also stated. The question was, is the SPF record I have for each domain the best way I could have it? Or, is there something more efficient? I have been receiving and reading all these emails for years now. I realize that the communication is free. However, I see most of the time the person asking the questions leaves in frustration still scratching is head. I also have tried the free tools. The tools while cool are not intuitive and the output is not clear and does not say a whole lot. If they did, there would not be so "many" people asking the "same" questions here. thanks -----Original Message----- From: Steve Yates [mailto:steve[at]teamITS.com] Sent: Friday, June 20, 2008 7:50 AM To: spf-help[at]v2.listbox.com Subject: RE: [spf-help] No SPF record found? Using an IP address in each SPF record saves others a lookup of the A record, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily "better." Using an IP address means you have to update the SPF record if a site moves to a different IP. ----- SPF FAQ: http://www.openspf.org/FAQ Common mistakes: http://www.openspf.org/FAQ/Common_mistakes - Steve Yates - ITS, Inc. - "Sir, if you were my husband, I would poison your drink." --Lady Astor to Winston Churchill ; "Madam, if you were my wife, I would drink it." --His reply ~ Taglines by Taglinator - www.srtware.com ~ ------------------------------------------- Sender Policy Framework: http://www.openspf.org Modify Your Subscription: http://www.listbox.com/member/ Archives: http://www.listbox.com/member/archive/1020/=now RSS Feed: http://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/1020/ Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com ------------------------------------------- Sender Policy Framework: http://www.openspf.org Modify Your Subscription: http://www.listbox.com/member/ Archives: http://www.listbox.com/member/archive/1020/=now RSS Feed: http://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/1020/ Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
