As I said, each domain would have its own SPF record. You can set this up for customers if you obtain a list of mail servers that each uses. You should read the FAQ below, and specific FAQs like: http://www.openspf.org/FAQ/Hints_for_ISPs > And then when a customer > doesn't want to renew or moves the site to a different hoster do I then > have to delete those. If you would continue to provide authoritative DNS for their domain, you/they would need to update their SPF record to cover any new mail server(s). > DNS Stuff is indicating that the spf record is missing that's why I am trying to > figure it out SPF is not required, but it is a way to help prevent others from sending mail using your domain. > -----Original Message----- > If you were asking about how to implement SPF, you should post to the > spf-help list... but quickly, each domain name should have its own SPF record. ----- SPF FAQ: http://www.openspf.org/FAQ Common mistakes: http://www.openspf.org/FAQ/Common_mistakes - Steve Yates - ITS, Inc. - ICMP: the protocol that goes PING! ~ Taglines by Taglinator - www.srtware.com ~ ------------------------------------------- Sender Policy Framework: http://www.openspf.org Modify Your Subscription: http://www.listbox.com/member/ Archives: http://www.listbox.com/member/archive/1020/=now RSS Feed: http://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/1020/ Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
